How it works
Latin Capsule is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-Co A-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides, raising the level of "good" cholesterol (HDL).
Caution: It is important to consult your doctor regarding alcohol consumption while taking Latin Capsule .
Not Safe: Latin Capsule is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Not Safe: Latin Capsule is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.
SAFE - Latin Capsule does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Latin Capsule is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Latin Capsule is recommended. However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.

What if I forget to take it?
If you happen to miss a dose of Latin Capsule , take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your usual schedule. Avoid taking two doses within a 12-hour interval.
