In Bacterial infections Pdx Tablet stops the growth of infectious bacteria and helps treat infections caused by bacteria. How to use
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pdx Tablet is to be taken with food.
How it works
Pdx Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Amoxycillin and Tinidazole. Amoxycillin kills bacteria by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is needed for them to survive. Tinidazole kills other microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
Unsafe: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Pdx Tablet 2/ , as it may lead to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure, known as a Disulfiram reaction.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Pdx Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Caution Advised: Pdx Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body. If a single dose of Pdx Tablet is used, it is recommended to hold breastfeeding for 12-24 hours to allow the removal of the drug.
Not Safe: Pdx Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Pdx Tablet may make you feel drowsy or gives you problems with coordination or sensation (e.g. numbness or weakness). This may affect your driving ability.
Caution Advised: Pdx Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Pdx Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Pdx Tablet 2/ is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
