Safe when prescribed by an expert: Protam 200mg Tablet MR is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Protam 200mg Tablet MR is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Protam 200mg Tablet MR is not indicated for use in women.

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Protam 200mg Tablet MR is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Protam 200mg Tablet MR is recommended. What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Protam 200mg Tablet MR is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
