In Hypertension (high blood pressure) Telista RM Tablet relaxes the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily around your body. This lowers your blood pressure and reduces your risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, or kidney problems in the future. You do not usually feel any direct benefit from taking this medicine, but it works in the long term to keep you well. You should take it regularly as prescribed for this medicine to be most effective, even if you feel better.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Telista RM Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
Telista RM Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Telmisartan and ramipril which lower blood pressure effectively. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and ramipril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Telista RM Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Telista RM Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Telista RM Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Not Safe: Telista RM Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Caution Advised: Telista RM Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Telista RM Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended for dose adjustment.

If a dose of Telista RM Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
