Zovanta Kit 40 mg/500 mg/750 mg Tablet reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes which prevents further damage to the ulcer as it heals naturally. You may be given other medicines along with this medicine depending on what caused the ulcer. You need to keep taking the medicine as it is prescribed for it to be effective, even if the symptoms seem to disappear.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.

Zovanta Kit 40 mg/500 mg/750 mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Pantoprazole, amoxicillin and tinidazole which treat stomach/intestinal ulcers due to bacterial infections. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which reduces the amount of acid in the stomach and prevents acid-related indigestion and ulcers. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic which works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering that is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Tinidazole is also an antibiotic which kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging the DNA. Together, they eradicate your infection effectively.
Unsafe: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Zovanta Kit 40 mg/500 mg/750 mg Tablet , as it may lead to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure, known as a Disulfiram reaction.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Zovanta Kit 40 mg/500 mg/750 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Caution Advised: Zovanta Kit 40 mg/500 mg/750 mg Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body. If a single dose of Zovanta Kit 40 mg/500 mg/750 mg Tablet is used, it is recommended to hold breastfeeding for 12-24 hours to allow the removal of the drug.
Not Safe: Zovanta Kit 40 mg/500 mg/750 mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Zovanta Kit 40 mg/500 mg/750 mg Tablet may make you feel drowsy or gives you problems with coordination or sensation (e.g. numbness or weakness). This may affect your driving ability.
Caution Advised: Zovanta Kit 40 mg/500 mg/750 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Zovanta Kit 40 mg/500 mg/750 mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Zovanta Kit 40 mg/500 mg/750 mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Zovanta Kit 40 mg/500 mg/750 mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Zovanta Kit 40 mg/500 mg/750 mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
