In Hypertension (high blood pressure) Aztric CT 25 Tablet relaxes the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily around your body. It also increases urine output. This lowers your blood pressure and reduces your risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, or kidney problems in the future. You do not usually feel any direct benefit from taking this medicine, but it works in the long term to keep you well. You should take it regularly as prescribed for this medicine to be most effective, even if you feel better.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aztric CT 25 Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
Aztric CT 25 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Azilsartan medoxomil and Chlorthalidone which lower blood pressure effectively. Azilsartan medoxomil is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels.This allows the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic that removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body. Over time it also relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Aztric CT 25 Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Aztric CT 25 Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Aztric CT 25 Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Not Safe: Aztric CT 25 Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Caution Advised: Aztric CT 25 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Aztric CT 25 Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Aztric CT 25 Tablet is not recommended in these patients.
Caution Advised: Aztric CT 25 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Aztric CT 25 Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Aztric CT 25 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
If a dose of Aztric CT 25 Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
